Along with the changing computing environment, the memory product has developed in a way of scale-down and stack-up to satisfy customer needs with High-Speed, Low Power and High Capacity.

With the era of Digital Transformation, data is explosively increasing, and the advent of 5G and AI enables a shift to the smart world with emergence of new application (Autonomous, Healthcare, AR/VR etc.). With these changes, customer and society needs for memory are becoming more diverse.

In addition to responding to the level of demand through the development of technology as it has done so far, it is also necessary to recognize the responsibility for the growing society and the environment, and to redefine the role of memory for building changing future ICT society.

In this lecture, we will look at what is driving the development of the memory industry in the future with the Digital Transformation era and discuss the development direction of memory technology to implement it together.
