On behalf of organizing committee of KCS 2014, it is a great pleasure and honor to welcome you to KCS 2014 to be held at Hanyang University, in Seoul, Korea from Feb. 24 to Feb. 26, 2014.

We have made rapid development in Semiconductor industry with the business opportunity of memory field since 1983. Korean Semiconductor industry is now at the world best level and the impact and power as dynamics of national growth have been expanding all over the world. The key to this remarkable progress has been the fruit of constant efforts and mutual cooperation by government, academia and researchers.

KCS is one of the biggest and foremost conferences in Korea held annually from 1994 for 20 years and more than 1,700 engineers and researchers working in the fields of semiconductor have participated every year. As many prestigious human resources in semiconductor field have showed their remarkable academic research and technology, we accomplished the national comparativeness and highest position in semiconductor field all over the world.

As this remarkable development faced with new paradigm which has increased demand in complexity and convergence between science and industry, began to emerge as the future icon, our conference is highly expected to build up the cornerstone for cutting-edged high technology in semiconductor field.

We set up the theme ��Fusion Semiconductor Accomplishing Creative Economy�� and we will do our best to accomplish the creative economy and great evolution in semiconductor technology. In this conference, we will also support to share your knowledge, experiences, and creative idea for the Korean Best Festival in Semiconductor. Organizing committee of KCS 2014 prepared KCS under the theme of ��Fusion Semiconductor Accomplishing Creative Economy�� as a fundamental ground for unique and wonderful experiences to share opinions on roles of Korean best festival in semiconductor in the future throughout the sessions and discussion.
